PERSONAL.

Detin McKenna and the Kev. Father Duffy aro on a visit to To Aroha. The General Manager of Railways, Mr Ronayuo, was in To Aroha yesterday. Mr G. W. Brayshaw has the honour of being tint iirst, Noble Grand of the Loyal Morrinsvillo Lodge of Oddfellows.

Mr. G. S. MoGirr, of the local Tourist Department, is at present enjoying a well-earned holiday Mr. Clias. Todd, of Rotorua, is acting in place of Mr McGirr during his absence. llis Worship the Mayor (Mr R. L. •Somers) has been spending a few days in Auckland.

Mr. Fowler, Government Auditor, is on a visit of inspection to To Aroha.

Mr. A. J. Farmer, < x Mayor, is once again in our midst, looking up his old friends.

Mr. J Agnew is still in the Hamilton Hospital, but is making good progress towards recovery. Justices Pavitt and Gavin waited on •S.M Burgess prior to the Court sitting on Tuesday last, and extended to llis Worship a hearty welcome. Cr. J. llowe has been re elected deputy Mayor of the Borough of To Aroha. Mr. A 8. Maokay having resigned, a new Secretary will ho required for the To Aroha J.C.
