Hamilton Volunteer Cadets.
The Hamilton Volunteer Cadets, under Captain Wood and Lieut. Rowe, arrived iu To Aroha on Saturday afternoon and paraded on the local Rifle Range for the purpose of combating for three medals. The Piako Mounted Rifles Idnclly decided to forego, i all practice for the afternoon on account of visit of cadets. The following are the results of the afternoon’s shooting, 5 shots at 200yds

Before dismissing three cheers wore given for Quartermaster-Sergeant Devey for the way in which he attended to the comforts of the cadets.
Corporal Munro, Colour - Sergeant Prince; and Private Gate were the winners of the three medals. A couple of cadets left for home the same night, the remainder staying to Church Parade on Empire Day, under Lieutenant Rowe.
