PRESENTATION TO MOTHER OF TRIPLETS.

BLENHEIM, Tuesday. The triplets born in Blenheim a few weeks ago were exhibited in the Town Hall this afternoon and viewed by a large number of people. The mother, Mrs Jacobsen, is in good health and the triplets are thriving.' Mr Neville, a prominent settler, presented Mrs Jaocbsen with a purse of sovereigns subscribed by the public, and in the course of his remarks emphasised the national importance of woman doing her full duty in relation to motherhood. He advocated that the State should give a still larger measure of encouragement to parentage, so that the noble work of rearing large families might be made less expensive.
