The Senior Cup match was played a Matamata between Morrinsville and Matamata, and was won by the former after a close game by one try to nil. Mr Moore-Jones made an impartial referee. The junior match played at. Morrinsville between the enme clubs, was won. by Matamata by six points (2 tries) to nil. Morrinsville could only muster eleven Players. Mr Campbell gave satisfaction as referee, and had occasion to order a local player off, for wilful obstruction. A noting of the Piakoi Rugby Union ■ waH ‘be held on Tuesday evening, to consider among other things the fdrmation of a referees association, which should be a boon to players, as at present with th# different rulings ;»■ player 41 Dunno where ‘e are.” An accident occurred at Kereone yesterday morning, when two of Mr J; C.
