Thompson’s Track.

The following telegram has been received by Mr W. H. Herries, M.P., from the Hon. J. McGowan : “ Referring to your wire re Thompson’s track, forwarded me by the Hon. Hall Jones, the whole of the amount voted has been authorised and the greaterfproportion spent. I regret I am unable to make any ; urther advance as the matter must iwait estimates. Sixty four pounds las been spent on the Tauranga side of the range and fifty on Piako side. -J. W. McGowan.”
