i Play in the annual tournament of . the Auckland Provincial Bowling * Association, with which the Te Aroha Olub is affiliated, will begin on Good Friday and be continued on the following Saturday and on Easter Monday. The events on the programme are the pennant match,. for which two rinks must be entered; the champion fours, which will be won by the rink most successful in the j pennant match, the invitation fours, and the invitation pairs. The local Club might well enter a team for one of the two events last named. Entries close with the Secretary, Mr A. M. Bryden of Auckland, on Friday, and ] intending competitors should at once ] communicate either with him or with ] the Secretary of their own Club. .[
L NEW ZEALAND TEAM IN ~ : VldfoHU. r - ! MELBOURNE, Yesterday. A team of bowlera from New Zealand met the representatives .of the Victorian Bowling Club to-day, after afairly good contest the visitors won by 123 to 105.
