Sheldons Music and Drama

The above .talented company who have recently concluded a highly successful tour or the South Island and Taranaki appear in Te Aroha for one night ouly in the Public Hall, on Thursday next. They I will produce a new and sensational drama, illustrative of London street life entitled A Vagabond’s j Daughter This was the piece which was * produced with great success by the Ward ; Willoughby Company during their recent tour of A ustralasia. Mr Sheldon has purchased the sole right for New Zealand and so far it has proved an unqualified success. A feature of the evening will be a new and novel innovation, consisting of musical interludes, dances, etc. Mr Sheldon needs no introduction to the Te Aroha public and will introduce during the evening an entirely new set of imported mechanical ventriloquent figures which have only been in New Zealand six weeks. Other members of the company include Mr Whyman Kindley, the talented character actor, Mr Derek Mannersley, an English actor of some note, Mr Arthur Edwards, Mr Richard Ausley, 'dss Lillie Sheldon, Miss Freda Moore and others. Special concessions are advertised for ladies namely, Is to all parts of the hall.
