Attempt on the Life of King Carlos.

LISBON, Yesterday. A bomb explosion here led to the discovery of a plot to assassinate King Carlos _ and the Premier. While a bomb for this purpose was being prepared it exploded, killing the conspirator and wounding two others; Thirty Republicans were arrested. A ' student named Bettencourt, ringleader of the plot, was making a bomb at the moment of the explosion. Documents compromising many people were found in his appartments
