The House of Commons had an all night sitting discussing the Evicted Tenants Bill and disagreed with several amendments made by the House of Lords, notably that of limiting the number of evicted tenants. The Government agreed to restrict the operation of the Act to four years instead of three for acquisition of land and determination of tenancies.
