MORRINSVILLE.

(Our Own Coirespondent.)

Mr F. J. Marshall suffered a rather serious loss on Wednesday night, his thoroughbred horse Cuirassier dying of an internal complaint, being one of the last of the Muskets. As the season is drawing near he will b 6 hard to replace. There have been some good musters at the hockey practices and fair form is being shown. With a little experience in outside matches, no doubt, they will hold their own with some of the older clubs.

It is to be hoped the weather will clear before next week otherwise the roads will not be in a very favourable state on the occasion of the Entertainment Society’s ball on the 15th, which promises to be a great success.
