Church Parade.
The Church Parade service at S. Mark’s on Sunday was well attended, forty-six m-jn ol B Squadron 2nd Battalion A MR., being present, including the Morrinsville troop under Lieutenant D. R. Campbell, a contingent from Hungohunga under Sergeant Given, and men of the Te Aroha troop under Lieutenant Rowe. Major Cliflord, O.C, 2nd Battalion A.M.R., and Lieutenant Salmon, Q.M., were also present. A special psalm and special lessons were used. The Rev F. M. Cowie, M.A., senior chaplain 2nd Batalion, A.M.R., officiated and preached from S. Matthew xxvii 42. One could scarcely help wishing that Te Aroha were able to support a good band.
