Social.

A very enjoyable social was held in the Public Hall, on Thursday evening in aid of the funds of St. Joseph’s Church, Te Aroha. There was a large attendance, and the floor being in tip-top order everything went with a good swing, and the music provided by the Te Aroha Trio being- all that could be desired. A choice supper was provided by the ladies, and done full justice te. During ’the evening extras were played by Mrs Dwyer and fiiss E. Ryan. Mr McSweeney performed the duties of M.C. in a very capable manner. Great praise is due to the energetic secretary, Miss Ryan, for the success of the social.
