THE MAORI KORERO.

The committee appointed by the great Maori meeting at Waahi failed to unite under one head (Mahutu) and the Arawas withdrew from the conference as a protest against the effort to appoint a, deputation to sent to England in ‘the event of blew Zealand Legislature ignoring the Maori petition. Those who acknowledged the mana of Mahutal were eager that he should head the deputation.
