Campbell-Bannerman to assume the general presidency _of the Imperial Conference which is ina perfectly rudimentary form an Imperial Parliament. Mr Deakin will not accompany the premiers to Edinburgh since he does not accept the honorary university distinction. The visiting premiers consider that Mr Bannerman ought to preside, but that the matter is entirely one for the Home Government’s decision.
