Manchester Garni Trade.
Mr McOt-meohv, the representative of the Manchester Ship Canal, addressing members of the Houses of Parliament in Wellington, said that about 177 neighbouring towns were repre sen ted on Manchester Provision Exchange, a r 'd that it was the cheapest port of dis ribution in England, aDd has three stores capable of taking 172,000,120,000 and 160,000 circases respectively. Mr McO nechy thought that, the New Zealand mutton would there come into competition with Argentiie and Australian, and the New Zealand being so much superior to the other importations, would also come into competition with the Horae meat. With a gradually increasing supply, commencing with 20,000 carcases a month, Mr MeConeeby thought that a market con'd be established in about twelve months.
