Late Correspondence.
■ TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— ln answer to a lot of letters that have appeared in the press lately, I wish to state that I do not? see why I should do without my beef because a few fools drink to excess. I don’t care whether people drink ®r otherwise at long as I get what I want. The business people cry out that they cannot gpt their 11 bills paid ; they cannot expect us to go without every luxury to please them. lam not going to go without my beer to please anyone. I believe there are two people going to speak hero to-night, one for prohibition and the other against. I would advise everyone to come and hear. Mr Ward snd don't let these agitators influence us to yote against our pot of beer, what do we care for the good prohibition will do the rising generation/let us do as the Bible tells us, eat, drink and be merry,—l am, etc., . ' ' Satisfied,.
