Big Prize Refused.
Mr Kinsella, Chief Dairy Expert, has written to the Agricultural Asso ci ition strong : y urging them not to accept Messrs Collet and Co’s offer of a £2OO prize for butter at the winter show, as neither the motive nor the offer was in order. The scheme, says Mr Kinsella, was intended to “get at” the good work of our grading system, Collet and Co. being about the only exporters who were dissatisfied. In view of this expression of opinion the Association has refused the offer.
