Saleyards for Maorrinsville.

A meeting of farmers was held at Morrinsville last week to consider the proposal to establish a saleyard there. Mr Hinton, chairman of the Executire Committee presided. It was unanimously resolved that Mr J. M. Clifford's offer to sell five acres near the hotel as a site for saleyards be accepted, and that immediate steps be taken to erect .saleyard s there. It was also unanimously' resolved that a company be forme 1 with a nominal capital of £750 divided into shares of £1 each. Over 300 shares were applied for at the meeting in the space of a few minutes. Another meeting will be held in a few days, when a form of prospectus will be submitted.
