Next Thursday is the day fixed for the concert at Waitoa, and readers should bear in mind that a very complete programme has been g© together, includiug a number of pleasing and noval features. Besides some very excellent vocal talent, there will be violin, mandolin, tenor horn, and other high-class instrumental solos, recitations, duets, etc. During the evening, the Rev. J. Blight will give a short address. Refreshments will also be provided. A brake leaves Mr. Bradley’s stables at 6.30. An importune addition to the business premises of Te Aroha is seen in the new livery ami bait stables just .opened by Mr John Bradley. The building, erected by Messrs Annan and Jennings, is of substantial design, and in every way' well suited to the puro poses for which it is intended.
