The Biorama Company.
Last night in the Public Hall, the famous Salvation Army Bioraraa Com pany gave their refined and instructive entertainment before a crowded house. The pictures exhibited were, if anything, almost above the high average which is always maintained, and the performance of the excellent military band was a fine exposition of careful and feeling rendering, their execution of the now well-knowh “Peace, be Still,” giving them excellent opportunities which they did not fail to take advantage of. Master Stanley Perry sang “ TJiere ain’t another Daddy in the world like mine,” and was much applauded B thdsman’Grundy wich ” Bluebell,” Capt lin Hunt with “ Out on the deep,” and Bandsmen Thomson with. “The Mighty Deep,” each gave a good rendering of their song. Of the pietures it is difficult to select the best from such a well-chosen display. “The Hanging R tilway” de* , pictod a clever German enineoring I experiment Winter .in Swit/erl md ” I is a very comprehensive film giving glimoses of mountain railway, hockey on die ice, sleighing, toboganning, e c ‘•Norwegian Waterfalls” is also a fine fi'ra. Many other good subjects were shown, including some very clever humorous pictures. “Joan of Arc” and Uncle Tom’s Cabin” w«re as usual much appreciated. Brigadier Perry is to be congratulated for the high” standard at which he maintains jthe Company.
