Te Aroha Bowling Club’s Social
A meeting of the Social ” committee of the Te Aroha Bowling Club whb held on Monday evening, l'he Mueic Committee reported the engagement of Mr J. Hearns’ string hand to provide the music for the social. Dr. Kenny and the Secretary reported that - arrangements for supper had been completed. A large marquee will be pitched alongside the Public Hall. . Mr P. Baine has promised to floor the 4 marquee and to construct a covered way thereto from the door at the rear t of the hall. The members ol the Ladies’ Committee will meet at the \ hall on Thursday morning, when ladies not,on the working committee are. requested to send their contributions. Dr Kenny and Mr Somers were appointed to act as Masters of Cere* monies, and 11. 30 p. ru. was fixed as . the hour for supper. The programme of dances drawn up by the “Music” committee was approved.
