Hearing at Waihou yesterday that the Executive of the Piako Ea’ epaycs Eeform Association had already pledged themselves to candidates to represent the A socDtiou at the local elections, we sought an interview with the secretary of the Association, who said this was absolutely untrue and had probably been circulated by someone with the purpose of poisoning tlic minds of present and intending' members. He said all members could rest assured that before pledging support to any candidates for local elections, a list of' members will first be submitted to each member of the Ballot papers would be seDtbypost, and members receiving the highest number of votes will be the candidates to receive the support of the Association.
