Te Aroha Bowling Club Social
On Wednesday two meetings were held in connection with the forthcoming Bowling Club Social. On Wednesday afternoon the ladies’ i committee which has undertaken the supper arrangements met to receive the reports of their canvassers. Some thirty ladies have promised their aid, and the list of good things would arouse the enthusiasm of an epicure. The general committee met in the evening to . arrange details.. It was arranged to hold the 1 fimetion on Friday, Ist September, hut in consequence of the hall being engaged for that date, Thursday, 31st inst. has had to be substituted. Sub-committees were appointed to make arrangements re music, supper, and ■ j decoration, and lovers of dancing may expect something extra specially good. Tickets may be obtained from any member of the committee, or by application through any member of tho Bowling Club.
