Orange Blossoms.

A very pretty and fashionable ■wedding' was solemnised at the residence of the bridegroom’s parents, College Hill, Ponsonby, Auckland, last Wednesday, when Mr Herbert Parker was joined in the bonds of matrimony to Miss Alice Maud West of Te Aroha. The bride, who was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Ethel Biggs of Te Aroha, and Miss Agnes Parker, sister of the bridegroom, looked exceedingly pretty. She was attired iu a. dress of soft white silk, the skirt, which was duchess trained, was cross-edged, tucked and finished off with a gaged frill, let in with insertion and big tucks. The bodice was tucked to match the skirt, and had a transparent lace yoke with cross-over collar, the elbow sleeves being finished with transparent cuffs. She wore the orthordox wreath and veil, and carried a beautiful shower hoquet, the gift of the bridegroom. The bride was given away by her father, Mr James West of Te Aroha. The first bridesmaid wore white silk over buttercup Duchess satin; the skirt was finished with a deep gaged frill, edged with ruched ribbon, and had an edged tucked overskirt, scalloped and finished with same ribbon, the bodice, which matched the .skirt, had bertha let in with Teneriffe and insertion and elbow sleeves with transparent cuffs. She wore a black picture hat. The second bridesmaid whs attired in cream cashmere trimmed with ruched ribbon and white satin covered with overlace and wore liat to match, They both carried They both carried shower bouquets, and wore very pretty charm pins, the gifts of the bridegroom. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Davidson, who ably filled the duties of best man, and Mr G. Parker, brother of the bridegroom, acted as groomsman. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a beautiful opal and diamond ring and the bride presented the bridegroom with a very handsome ' gold-mounted greenstone pendant.
