Ax old age pensioner named Neeson is alleged to have attempted suicide at Motueka by hanging himself in a cowshed, lie was cut down by two ladies in time to save his life, but he is in a somewhat serious condition. A charge of attempted suicide was called at the Court to-day, but Neeson was too ill to be moved, and the proceedings were adjourned. ,
