Fire at Fielding.
By Telegraph. —Press A ssociation. Wellington, This Day. A fire on Saturday evening destroyed the premises of Wilson and Coles (booksellers), C. J. C. grocery stores, and Lewis (photographer). A brick dividing wall prevented the fire spreading any further. The “ Star ” Office had a narrow escape, and stock was much damaged in removal. The building is insured in the Royal for £1043, Wilson and Cole’s stock for £IOSO in various offices, and C. J. C, stock for £BOO, Lewis’ stock, £IOO. Wilson and Coles and C. J. C. estimate their damage at £SOO above insurance.
