THE BATHS
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Through the medium of you? widely circulated paper allow me space to express an humble opinion re the method now in vogue of .working same :—I am a working miner—lst this be understood not a tourist, and Sunday is my only day of rest, and a day that we, as miners, use to enjoy by taking a run to To Aroha. Now-fi* 1 days this has to be knocked on the head, as without a bath and refresher the journey is too far, why not keep these baths open all day as of old, and let the working man from the other side of the hill enjoy a little journey and a good bath? Are the bathl Jy closed to give the attendants a holt* /- day ? or is it to let them attend church! I think, with a double staff, they ought to be able to run all day Suqday and let the miner have his weekly dip—Trusting a more able pen than mine will take this all important sub* ject up.—l am etc, A Miner. Karangabake 17. 7. 1905*
