The following bills hare been read a second time : Divorce Act Amendment (Laureson), Local B dies’ Leases (Ward i Counties Act Amendment (Ward), Road Boards’ Act Amendment (Ward), Gaming and Lotteries Act Amendment (Mr McGowan), During a discussion on tire last named bill an attack was made on the totalisator and it was announced an amendment would be moved in'committee for its abolition.

The Criminal Code Amendment Bill (McGowan) was put. through it final stages. The House rose at 11. 40.
