Open to all horses within a radius .of 15 miles of Matamata Railway Station, and to have been the bona fide property of owner for at least 3 months before day of race. Only those horses who have never wen stakes at time of starting can compete Distance 1 mile. CONDITIONS. Nominations to close on WEDNESDAY December 4r h, at 10 p. m, with the Secretary, Matamata, or Mr J Dalgleish, Hamilton. Weights will appear on SATURDAY, December 14th; acceptances on FRIDAY December 20th. All nominations must be accompanied with age, pedigree and performances, colours of jockeys, and the necessary amount of cash. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined one guinea. Any horse winning a stake of the value £ls after the declaration of weights to eirry slb extra, and £3O, 71b extra, not accumulative All stakes paid in full. All protests to be in the hands of Secretary within 10 minutes after the race accompanied with 2 sovs, wh'ch shall be |orfeited to the Club if the. protest is not tm&tained.
