Maiden Plate of 7 sovs, second horse to receive 1 sov from the stakes. Open to all horses that have never won an advertised race. Distance 1 mile. Nomination 4s; acceptance 3s. 5. MATAa£ATAHANDICAPof2Osovs, second horse to receive 3 sovs from the stakes Distance 1J miles. Nomination 10s ; acceptance 10s. 4. Pony Race of 7 sovs, second horse to receive 1 sov from the stakes. Open to all ponies 14.3 and under. Distance 6 furlongs. Nomination 3s 6d, acceptance 3s 6d. fi. Flying Handicap of 10 sovs, second horse to receive 1 sov from the stakes Distance J mile. Nomination ss; acceptance ss. 6. District Hack Race of 10 sovs, second horse to receive 2 sovs from the stakes. Open to all horses within a radius .of 15 miles of Matamata Railway Station, and to have been the bona fide property of owner for at least 3 months before day of race. Only those horses who have never wen stakes at time of starting can compete Distance 1 mile. Entrance fee, 10s Handicap of 6 sovs, second horse to receive 1 sov from the stakes Forced for winners and open to all defeated horses. Distance 6 furlongs Nomination 3s ; acceptance 3s. CONDITIONS. Nominations to close on WEDNESDAY December 4r h, at 10 p. m, with the Secretary, Matamata, or Mr J Dalgleish, Hamilton. Weights will appear on SATURDAY, December 14th; acceptances on FRIDAY December 20th. All nominations must be accompanied with age, pedigree and performances, colours of jockeys, and the necessary amount of cash. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined one guinea. Any horse winning a stake of the value £ls after the declaration of weights to eirry slb extra, and £3O, 71b extra, not accumulative All stakes paid in full. All protests to be in the hands of Secretary within 10 minutes after the race accompanied with 2 sovs, wh'ch shall be |orfeited to the Club if the. protest is not tm&tained.
