WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

The twenty-seventh annual Conference of the New Zealand Wesleyan Church was-opened in the Pitt Street Church,. Auckland, on Friday night. The Eev J. Orchard, Kaiapai, Canterbury, presided. The roll-call showed about 150 ministers and' laymen presort;, from all over the colony, and there was a large representation- of the members of the Auckland congregations. The retiring president delivered a stirring address, and the Eev J. Smalley, F.E.G.S , Nelson, was elected as president for the ensuing year by a practically unanimous vote. Thefollowing is the firs 1 ; draft of stations for the Auckland district :

Burton ; Palmerston North, RtevT. A. Joughin: The Rev D.. X.. Murray, Thames, was re-elected secretary of Conference with 49 votes, the next highest being the Rev S. Lawry,. 22 votes.
