Campbell (scratch)— games 6.5, 1.6, 6.4., The final for this event has since been played off, when Miss Stella Campbell defeated Miss Manning (receiving 5/ —games 6.1, 3.§> 6,3. Miss 8 ella, Campbell thus carries off the prize. Gents’ Singles:. Banks (owing £ls) beat East (receiving 15) —games 6.5, 6.5. Dansey (scratch) beat Coubrough (receiving £5)—6.2, 5.6, 5.5.. W..Maingay,,bye. Banks,. W. Maingay, and Dansey remain to fight out the third round, and as these players are closely matched, considerable interest is being shown.
