Accidents at Waihi.

Waihi, January 30. A man named James O’Connor met with an accident in the Union mine to-day. Ho was working in a drive when a fall of earth took place, striking him on the head, and another slip fell on his Ipgs, breaking one of them. Dis Forbes and Porter, of Waihi, attended on the sufferer, af er which he was sent by train to the Thames Hospital.

On Monday, at the cordial factory, Charles Loane received a nasty gash on hie arm, through some bottles, which he was putting away, bursting. Mr Johnson, chemist, in the absence of both doctors, bound up the wound. :
