The Fire at Westport.
STILL BURNING. Vert little information concerning the five at the Cardiff mine is available. Mr Dixon, the manager for the Westport Coal Company at Granity Creek, is superintending the arrangements, and hopes to get the fire under in a few days. At present sixteen men are engaged, but are prevented from approaching the sc c ne of the fire through ;he impure air.. Fans will have to be used to enable them to make headway
