The Mararoa leaves Auckland on 29th inst, to connect with Sues mail at Sydney, leaving 6th prox, and due in London on 11th March, mails close at Te Aroha January 27th, at 10.20 a.m. The Weetralia leaves Auckland on sth prox., to connect with Suez mail at Melbourne on 14th prox., due in London on 18th March, mails close at Te Aroha 3rd February, at 10.20 a.ni. There was a iarge muster of cattle at Messrs McNicol and Co.’s sale at Ohaupo on Tuesday last, nearly | 600 head being yarded, principally 3 and 4 year old steers and empty cjws, mostly in forward condition. There was only a moderate demand and prices obtained were lower than those ruling of late, Dairy cows made from £3 5s to £5 10a; fresh empty cows from Patatere, £4 7s 6d to £4 9s ; grown steers £5 6s to £5 17s} 3 year old steers £4 10s to £4 17s ; 2£ year old steers, £3 2s to £3 17s; 18 months old hcifei-Bj £1 16s; 18 months old cattle, mixed sexes, £1 10s; empty store Cows £2 2s 6d to £3 ; cows with calves £3 0.1 ; small fat steers £4 10s to £5 ; ( fat cows £A 15s,
