A wedding of some interest to the Te Aroha folks eventuated in the Primitive Methodist Church, Auckland, on Friday last, when Mr J. E. Guthrie (who," it will he remembered, was the builder of the Hot Springs Hotel), Auckland, was joined in wedlock to Miss Maggie Walsh, of Eden Terrace Auckland, The ceremony was performed by Rev Mr Potter. The bride was given away by her father, and was attended by Misses E. Guthrie, Lucy Hawkins, Lye and Taylor, as bridesmaids, while Mr J. Walsh, brother of the bride, acted as groomsman. . The happy couple passed through Te Aroha by train, enroute for Rotorua, where" the-honeymoon is to be spent. ;
