Volunteer Notes.
There is every probability that theTe Aroha Rifles will go into camp for a week, in order to improve in their drill, and also to give many of them an opportunity of earning capitation before the volunteer year closes. Sergt. W. Maingav succeeded in winning Messrs Hallenstein Bros’ 7 , clock. Final shooting for which took place last Thursday afternoon. Captain O’Meagher calls attention of Volunteers to the fact that thn T.R.V. will parade for Volley and Independent firing in the Domain at 2.30 p.m. on 25th inst. A movement is being made to form a mountod corps in Te Aroha.
