(From own C a-respondent.) SERIOUS ACCIDENT. Tauranoa, Las' Night. A lid named Eddy McMorrin fell down a w 11 at Te Puna yesterday and severe!v injured his leg. He was brought to town for medical treatment. EIRE AT DaRGAYILLE. Auckland, Last Night. A big fire at Dargaville destroyed the Public Hall, billiard room, and tho shops of Messrs Morris (fruiterer), Mills (tailor), and Nairn’s smithy. DROWNING AT WHANGAREI. Auckland, Last night. Mr W. H. Hewlett, of Whangavei, vas drowned by capsizing of a boat. His wife saw the accident and his s..n rowed to the rescue, but arrived too late.
