Football Notes.
[By Deop Kick.] MORRINS-VILLE v. TE AROHA, The Selection Committee have chosen the following team to represent Te Aroha in the match against Morrinsville, to be played at the latter place on Saturday. Kick-off at 3 o’clock sharp : Full-back—Smales. Three-quarters—Lipseyi Bell, Jennings Halves—Buchan, Cook. Forwards —Keneally, Pickett, Cornes, Clarke, Mikkelsen, Poland, Strange, Evitt, Pilkington. Emerg., Brennan, Saralon, Mick (2). A practice match will be played at Lipsey's paddock, on Thursday afternoon. Auckland v. Ohinemuri. On Saturday afternoon the Auckland fifteen played their second inter union match against a team chesen from Ohinemuri, and the weather being -pleasant, the game was watched by something like 3000 spectators. Auckland winning by 23 points (seven .tries, one converted) to 8 points (two tries, one converted). Mr A. Campbell acted as referee, giving satisfaction to both players' and onlookers.
