GREAT WESTERN G.M.GO. On the above company’s proptery at Te Aroha the Chilian mill, whieh was lately erec.ed, is not working, and it is said to be the intention of the managem nt to have a fairly large quantity of quartz (about 50 tous) crushed at the Aroha Gold Mining Company's battery at Waiorongomai. The quartz of the Te Aroha district being somewhat of a flinty nature, a Chilian mill would naturally suffer, and by those w< 11 qualified to speak with authority such an ore-crushing plant is considered unsuitable for the majority of the Te Aroha district.
