Launch of a British Warship.

COLLAPSE OF THE STAGING. *~ s ' MANY PERSONS SUBMERGED^ SEVERAL DROWNED. London, June 21. The launch of the British warship Albion from the shipbuilding yards at Blackwall, in Middlesex County, which f took place ‘to-day, was accompanied by a most unfortunate mishap, attended by loss of life. The warship was moving smoothly down the ways, when the staging suddenly collapsed and the vessel took the water prematurely. The Albion shipped .an immense quantity of water which flooded her decks and many of those who were on board the vessel were submerged. The majority of the people were able to save themselves, but several were drowned. It is understood that, the warship has not sustained any serious damage.
