Thames Navals v Karangahake

This shooting match came off on Saturday at Karangahake. In he absence of P.O, Grundy, P.O. Rose was in charge of the visiting team, and Captain Marsland was in charge of the Karangahake men. Owing to the darkness, two men on each side were unable to fire, and they were allowed average scores. The Karangahake team: also courteously allowed the average in the case of Grundy.
