Waiorongomai School Committee.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the above was held on Ffciday evening last. The members present were : Messrs Orenin (chairman), Edwards, Jennings, Murphy. Laurie, and Wili liamson. The Inspector’s inspection : report was read, and was considered very satisfactory. The usual monthly report was forwarded by the head ■: teacher. It was; reported that some of the boys were not attending school regularly, and it .was decided that the Chairman try and induce the parents to send these children more regularly. The secretary, Mr Jennings, was instructed to procure the necessary window blinds, and the covering for' the remainder of the library books., Messrs Upton and Co.’s account for school the account for school cleaning, and several other minor accounts were passed for payment. The question of a fence around the teacher’s residence was deferred until the architect's visit. Messrs Cronin and Laurie were appointed a Visiting Committeee for the present month.
