On Sunday Dr De Renzi called to. see Miss Scott and as she gradually became worse her deposition a were taken. As these implicated Russell he was taken to the girl’s house where she identified him as the peram who performed the operation. The doctors despair of saving Miss Scott’s life. Later Russell was charged at the S.M Court with performing an illegal operation. Tue Inspector of Police said the woman was in a dangerous condition and the accused was remanded to February 28th. The Magistrate refused to grant bail in any amount.
