Labori denouncing generals in uniform making speeches for the prosecution. The denunciation created an uproar, necessitating a brief adjournment of the Court, On resuming, Count Estereazy was called, and .made a dramatic speech upon his prosecution, M, Labori reviewed Esterhazy’s life, and as he put question after question to him Esterhazy turned his back and absolutely refused to answer a single one. The excitement in the Oourfc was intense. The spectators rose in a body and successively cheered Esterhazy, General Boisdeffre, and the Army, General Boisdeffre was overcome with emotion, and wept.

Riotous scenes are being witnessed in the streets of Paris, and it is feared that Zola’s release will lead to a grave tumult.

The mob side with the Judge and the Generals, and maintain that Captain Dreyfus' conviction was correct.
