The Bitter Cry of the Bather .
Some weeks ago complaints were frequent and bitter that the water in No. 2 Bath had fallen in temperature. Many declared that in making the alterations to increase the supply the hot springs had ; beeU; irretrievably ruined and the supply would never again be restored tO/jtS;-, former grate-, ful aßd comforting HeatJ The doom of Te Aroha was sealed some, and scorn when it ventured to assert that the; fall--in'temperature' was; merely iemporary. Thd new reservoir is finished and a : new order of things inaugurated. The supply is now copious and piping hot. Judge our surprise yesterday when we heard a couple of invalids bitterly complaining the temperature of No. 2 Bath:. They were asking indignantly how wa can expect anything but a salamander to bathe in such water. It was hot enough to boil eggs in, they declared. -
