MONTHLY MEETING.
Thf. ordinary monthly meeting of the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain Board was hold in the Domain Buildings on Saturday, the 7th inst. Present: Messrs Gavin, (chairman) Gallagher, Hotchin, and Bradley. The minutes of last ordinary meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence—To Agent-General, London, forwarding 100 Guide Books. , From Railway Department re excursions. - ' ' * From G. F. Allen re Willis’s Guide Book. Asking for particulars re baths etc. ... ■ .... . ... /./ From J. Wilson, secretary to the Hon Cadman, referring to the Government grant of £IOO to the Domain ’Board.."' /■ Library.— Resolved that 100 books be hired for twelve months from Mr Metcalfe, Auckland, for £2 .10s; - the Board to deposit! £si as a guarantee that-the books, will be : returned in good order* - - Band.-— The Chairman reported that he had arranged with the Brass Band to play in tho Domain grounds one evening in each week for tho sum of 10s por week Resolved that the action of the Chairman be approved. Monthly Statement Receipts— Sale of tickets, £4l 8s 2d; towels, £5 10s' 6d; library receipts, 19s 6d; tennis, 14s; total £4B 12s 2d. Expenditure—By £74 18s/ 6d,; caretakers’ and elbrk, £23 ; ; J. B. Johnson, £6 19s ; G. Devey, 4s; J. Currie £ll4s; A. W.Edwards, £1 45,; postages, £3"; Mrs Simpson, £1 9s 3d ; ' Hetherington, and Co., £1 16s lid; Mrs Balcke, £1 2s 6d; G.
