PUHIPUHI.
NEW CLAIMS PEGGED OUT AT WAIARIKI
A new special claim has been pegged out ,at the Waiariki, to be called the New Puhipuhi., A water* right for the same has also been applied for. ! This area. comprises what was originally the No. 3 Pr6spectors,’ the Luminaiy. the Jubilee, Good Tentplar, etc. The aaea applied for is 100 acres. A considerable amount of work was done on these properties, a number of drives were put in and some fine strong lodes opened up, some of which carry good payable ore, but when Puhipuhi collapsed through the failure of the Prospectors’- all the claims were doned, and those who now take the old properties up got all the advantage of the wdtk originally done.
