. (Before R. 8, Bush, Esq-) • J. Williams, applied of Golden Grown Licensed Holding. No objection being lodged the application was granted* Mr Gilchrist appeared for applicant. William Newsome, application for Extended Special clai:y. at Waioron* gomai. Mr Gilchrist appeared for applicant. The applicant on being Bworn stated that .it was intended to float this, in conjunction with the Royalty, on the English market. It was proposed to expend some £2,000 in putting in tunnels,-otc.,and other--wise proving the value of the country. Thus. Gavin, who also gave evidence, stated :—lt was originally intended, to float the Loyalty mine on the English market, but'capitalists who had visited; the ground was of opinion the area 1 was too small. In order to overcome this difficulty the present application: had been lodged, which would be; floated in conjunction with the L lyalty ground; The area applied for was old abandoned ground ; which was repeated!/ tried, but it was found necessary that capital was required to carry on operations successfully.
