ANNUAL MEETING. - . , The Annual meeting of the Te Aroha Jockey Jolub was held in the Town Hall on Thursday evening. Mr Pavitt, President,, in the chair, and about twenty-five members present. The-minutes of previous meeting were adopted. The Financial Statement showed the Club to have a debit balance of £4l when all liabilities were discharged..,; / , . „ Mr Sihardon offered ~to foregP his claim of £lO against the Club on conditions that he be made a life member. Resolved that Mr Smarclon’s offer be accepted. • ‘ ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The election of officers resulted as follows President! -W;. H. Herries, Esq.; Vice-Presidents, D. McNicol, Esq., and E. A. Roache, Esq. Stewards. —Messrs Abbey, Marshall, Bradley,.o ■ Meagher,- Brennan, Lipsey, Gavin, Gallagher, Mills) Kn mk and Schultze.' v . : \ Treasurer, Mr A. W.' It was resolved that the race -mee'ing be held oil Thursday, March 12th. The members subscription was fixed at half-guinea '•' Votes of thanks to the retiring President and secretary closed the meeting: . ; •
