It is now said in usually well-in-formed quarters that Sir. Patrick Buckley has been dissuaded from his purpose to accept the vacant Judgeship. If this be so it will probably mean that two members of the Cabinet will be aspirants for tbe Agent-General ship, and the Premier will, have but one instead of two portfolios to allot upon the re -construction of the Cabinet exclusive of the new Minister proposed by. the new Bill, the fate of which seems very uncertain.
